Renaissance street art

Artist: Yola

Polish artist, curently living in London and Paris recereates Renaissance biblical scenes and paintings in her murals. Her first major project was called which was created in one of Warsaw’s “rough” districts, Praga, and was made with the participation of the contemporary inhabitants of the district. The project dealt with numerous issues, such as intolerance and alienation caused by age, race and sexual orientation.
