Street alpona

Largest alpona in the world was made by over 200 artists in Dhaka, Bangladesh – it was done for the Bengali New Year.
And since I did not know what an “alpona” is, I, too, needed to google it out.
Here’s what aunt Wikipedia says:

“আলপোনা (alpona) is a traditional decorative art form that has been traditionally been practiced by women in Bengal.”
