Museo a Cielo Abierto 4

It’s been a while since the last episode of the San Miguel‘s (Chile) mural project, so here is another one.
The title of this piece is entitled “Signs of life” by Ecos, Chilean muralist and graphic designer. It focuses on the idea of travelling, imagining and giving life to nature within the public space of the city. It is a way of bringing into the city all species that we are becoming more and more distant,  giving them life through color and shape, especially bearing in mind the generations which are just beginning to inhabit those lands.  The work was conducted on the basis of an investigation of the Chilean flora and fauna, capturing some of its leading representative of each habitat.

The authors of the mural said also:

“This mural is dedicated to all the neighbors who gave us their smile and truth. Especially children who do not know the sea and now have a whale in its window.”
