Ballet in collage

The worlds of street art and ballet collide in “Les Ballets De Faile,” an art installation by the Brooklyn-based duo FAILE commissioned by the New York City Ballet.
The artists delved into the New York City Ballet’s archive in order to create a series of ballet-themed collages. The show includes 10 painted sculptures and a 40-foot tower, “Tower of Faile,” made up of more than 2,000 wooden panels decked out with paint and silk screen.

If you stop by New York C the installation is free and open to the public February 10-17.
